The Film Bunch Launch

Wow, our launch event last night was a full house! Thank you to everyone who came, we hope you had a great time. A massive thank you to our volunteers, you’re all amazing.

We screened an eclectic mix of short films, enjoyed some nibbles and listened to the filmmakers’ experiences. Thanks to A D Cooper (Ace), Ben Sayers (In the Shadow of the Mountain) and Lukas Revzin (Message from Abdullah) for taking part in our Q&A.

As our events are deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly, we aim to increase awareness of using captions in short films and hope last night’s event will encourage filmmakers to make their films more accessible.

It was lovely to meet lots of new fantastic people. If you couldn’t make it yesterday, don’t worry, we’ll be having another event soon. This has been an incredible experience, we hope to see you all at the next one!
