London Film Networking

As most of you know, our usual events have at least one hour of short films and a bit of networking. Last Saturday, we changed it up slightly and focused more on networking! We still kept our guests entertained with a few short films which you can find out more about below.

The room was filled with about 70 people and we had a great time meeting them. It was fantastic to see lots of people (both from the deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing communities) getting to know each other and making connections. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, we hope you'll come back!

We'll be back to longer screenings next month but we will have another proper networking sesh soon. In the meantime, check out the photos from our last event and feel free to tag yourself if you're in any of them!

For the past two years, director Daniel's dad has been suffering from a rare kind of blood cancer. After witnessing how horrible cancer is for patients as well as everyone around them, he wanted to visualise, through film, this awful disease that has plagued so many individuals and families.

Everybody has freedom. Everything is available. Say and do whatever you want but be ready to stand by your actions and to make sure they follow your words.
